Sarasota Beach Wedding Permits and Marriage Licenses

Beach Wedding Ceremony Permits  are easily obtained and your responsibility.

Most Sarasota Beach Weddings require a permit. 

Call the Sarasota County Parks and Recreation Department @ 941-861-7275 

You can easily obtain your beach wedding permit over the phone for any of the public parks with a credit card. Most public parks have parking and bathrooms. 

Lido Beach Wedding Ceremony Permits 

It's minimally $171.20. For a four hour permit wedding permit on Lido Beach.

Zone 1 or 2 is best

Be careful don't be steered to SOUTH Lido Beach... 

TRUTH? South Lido Beach kinda sucks for parking !

Siesta Key BeachWedding Ceremony Permits 

It's minimally $321. For a four hour wedding permit on Siesta Key Beach M-Th weddings- It's crowded and difficult almost always- 

TRUTH?-weekend weddings in this location just suck for both parking and access! Too stressful for us....We don't deliver weekend weddings at this location unless it's off season.

For those that don't get it...This is not referring to your Marriage License!!  Yup!...there's another whole OMG story around that last line !!

• Marriage licenses can be obtained at any County Clerk's Office in Florida for $86...plus tax

• Nearby there are two office locations : Bradenton and Sarasota 

• Only you can do this- and you must go together- you can start the process online in advance as well! 

• Once obtained you'll have 60 days to get married.

• There is no waiting period for non-residents of Florida nor blood tests.

• All Florida residents have a three day waiting period....No waiting period if you are both from out of state. 

• Identification with a photograph (i.e. driver's license or passport) and your Social Security # is required. 

• You'll need only to acknowledge the date that any previous marriages have ended.

• Once I marry you, I will stamp the document. Your Marriage License must then be returned back to the Court Clerk's Office from where it was obtained within 10 days, so the marriage can be recorded. I'm happy to do so- no added costs for this.

• For clarity- I cannot validate a marriage license from another state or country.
